• Account information. When you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your name, email address, and a unique account identifier from that provider. We do not receive or store your password for those providers.
• Usage information. The YouTube URLs you submit and the summaries generated for you, along with related job status and metadata, so we can deliver and display your results.
• Billing information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor (Stripe) collects and processes your payment details. We do not store your full card number or other sensitive payment data on our systems; we retain subscription status and plan information.
• Technical information. Basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type, used for security, authentication, and operating the Service.

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• To authenticate you and keep your account and data secure.
• To generate, store, and display your video summaries and usage history.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions for paid plans.
• To communicate with you about your account, including service-related notices.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service, and only as needed for them to perform their functions:

• Authentication providers (Google, GitHub) for sign-in.
• Stripe for payment processing and subscription management.
• AI and infrastructure providers used to fetch transcripts and generate summaries, including Anthropic (Claude) for paid summaries. The content of the videos you submit may be processed by these providers to produce your summary.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.

We retain your account and usage data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. We may retain certain information where required for legal, accounting, or security purposes.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. You can also stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
