Terms of Service

Sumvid lets you submit YouTube video links and receive AI-generated summaries. Summaries are produced by automated models and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. They are provided for convenience and should not be relied upon as a substitute for the original content or for professional advice.

You must sign in through a supported provider (Google or GitHub) to use most features. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the security of the account you use to sign in. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to infringe intellectual property or other rights, or to process content you do not have the right to access.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of the terms of YouTube or any third-party provider.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission.

• The Service offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Current plans and prices are shown on our pricing page.
• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as selected) through our payment processor, Stripe. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel.
• Paid plans include a per-period quota of summaries. Usage beyond the free tier requires an active paid plan.
• We may change plan features and pricing. If we change the price of your plan, we will give you notice, and changes apply to subsequent billing periods.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. When you cancel, you keep paid access through the end of your current billing period, after which your account reverts to the free tier. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Telep IO LLC and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. Summaries generated for you are yours to use, subject to the rights of the underlying content owners.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that summaries will be accurate or complete.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Telep IO LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Ohio.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
